Experiential path to discover FITT B-Active for Spatex visitors too

The curtain has come down on Spatex, the English event dedicated to the world of swimming pools and wellness.

In line with corporate decisions that are increasingly placing the end user at the centre of all its activities and following on from the significant enthusiasm demonstrated by the public at Piscine Global, FITT recreated a staged path within its stand at Spatex too. This path allowed to highlight the innovative characteristics of FITT B-Active, the flexible spiral hose for water suction and delivery, comparing it with traditional rigid pipes.

On English soil too, the visitors were able to watch FITT B-Active tests and those of other hoses present on the market immersed in water with a high chlorine content. They were able to see that the latter already degrade in correspondence with the skimmer after 45 days, while the inner skin of FITT B-Active does not show any signs of deterioration even after 90 days.

Furthermore, by personally bending the hoses, participants put the curvature radius to the test. They saw how FITT B-Active is more flexible and significantly reduces installation times.
The same result cannot be obtained with rigid pipes.

Finally, in the stage dedicated to the ring stiffness test, where a machine press applied a pressure of 22 kg per cm² – corresponding with an accidental shock caused by a person weighing 220 kg stepping on the hose with a 10-centimetre-wide shoe – visitors were able to observe how FITT B-Active resists 60% more compared with other hoses present on the market.

In the trade context of Spatex too, by recreating an experiential and exploratory path for visitors, FITT addressed end users once again. It further emphasised how all its research and innovation activities start out from their needs.
